-In the first film, Nicks core conflict is that he should be returning home to take over the family business and want to stay in new York; as we learn in the books,he's father appears to have never actually worked and it doesn't appear there is a family business.

-Each family member is vying to enherit a trophy estate.Rich people problem is a hilarious new novel about a rich family, a psychotic ex wife, a couture gown sabotage and an heir to one at biggest fortunes.
